A DRIVER crashed into the wall of a house during rush hour.
Emergency services were called to Manchester Road in Westhoughton at about 5.30pm yesterday evening.
Firefighters from Bolton Central raced to the scene and releases a woman trapped in the the vehicle.
An ambulance was also dispatched to the scene.
The driver, who suffered what police are describing as 'minor injuries' is suspected to have suffered a medical episode at the wheel.
Officers' enquiries are on going.
Cones were placed in a line outside the property and sand was spread across the pavement.
One resident nearby, who did not wish to be named, said: "I did not see what happened but I heard a noise and then saw all the police cars and fire engines.
"It was quite shocking."
