A DOCUMENTARY about self- made millionaire Hilary Devey will be filmed in Bolton.
BBC will film the programme about the entrepreneur who is the latest addition to the show Dragon’s Den.
It will focus on her Tonge Moor roots, where her family ran the Tonge Ward Social Club.
It will be shown on BBC2 over Christmas.
Filming is thought to be taking place this week and next week. Mrs Devey made her fortune in the haulage industry after leaving Bolton when she was aged 21.
She sold her home and car to finance the launce of her business, Pall-Ex in 1996. The company is believed to turn over £100 million each year. Dylan Pierce, the assistant producer on Dragons’ Den: Hilary Devey’s Story, is looking for pictures of Ruby Street in the 1960s and 1970s before it was demolished to become gardens in Pinewood Close, Halliwell.
Pictures and memories of Hilary at the Tonge Ward Social Club, The Railway Hotel in Farnworth and her as a child are also needed.
