POP star wannabe Emma Chawner has again auditioned for this year’s X Factor.

About 6,000 people flocked to Manchester’s Old Trafford on Saturday for the first round of auditions.

Three-time reject Emma, who used to live in Ramsbottom, queued for hours for a place in the seventh series.

Last year, Emma and her family were featured in a reality TV diet show hosted by Lorraine Kelly.

Auditions for The X Factor will be held in Glasgow, Cardiff, Birmingham, London and Dublin throughout April and May.

The show is set to return to the screens in the summer
