TV viewers in Bolton are being urged to get advice if they are struggling with the switch to digital.
Some analogue signals broadcast from the Winter Hill transmitter were replaced by digital signals earlier this month and the remaining channels will be changed on December 2.
Before then, viewers will have to ensure all their TVs can receive a digital signal. Freeview viewers will need to retune again on that date too. Jo Waters, regional manager for Digital UK, said: “For the vast majority of viewers, switchover has been a straightforward and positive change. But some people will need extra help around December 2, particularly with retuning, or if they are not receiving their preferred regional service.”
