Tram services on the Bury line will be affected on bank holiday Monday due to engineering works.

Operator the Bee Network says no trams will run through Manchester Victoria on Monday, May 6, as engineering works take place.

The operator says the Bury, East Didsbury and airport lines will be affected and bus replacement services will be in operation.

The works will see services from Bury terminate at Queens Road, with a replacement bus in place travelling to Victoria, Shudehill, Piccadilly Gardens and Manchester Piccadilly.

Buses from Queens Road will run every 15 minutes from 7.20am and from Piccadilly to Queens Road from 6.38am.

A spokesperson from the Bee Network said: "On Monday, May 6, no trams will operate through Victoria due to engineering works.

"The Bury, Rochdale, East Didsbury and airport lines will be affected. Replacement buses will run between impacted stops."
