Howell Croft South car park, 1981
In 1981 when this photo was taken the site of the former Howell Croft South bus station was in use as a pay and display car park for shoppers visiting the town centre.
It would later become the site for the Octagon multi-storey car park.
You can see the theatre building on the left of the photo with the town hall behind.
