Bolton's New Look store has been selected as just one of 21 stores nationwide to undergo a huge investment.

Based in the Market Place Shopping Centre, the store is having a complete redesign - including revamping the fitting rooms - to give it a 'new look'.

And shoppers at the popular clothes store need not worry as New Look will remain open throughout the transformation.

The relaunch will take place on Thursday, May 2.

A new footwear department will be created at the front of the store under the plans.

Store manager Claire Ceesay said: “There has been an investment into 21 stores, by the business just to put us back on the map.

“Everything is going to be changed in the store, footwear is moving to the front door, 915 is getting its own corner, so it is having its own identity.

“The store is having an all-new New Look look, so something we have never done before, just everything is being done, they are not leaving one stone unturned.”

Claire said the store will not be shut whilst the works are ongoing.

She said: “The store will remain open, we will still trade through, we have got a few signs that state to just mind the disruption, there will be a slight close of the fitting room during the weekdays but will be open on the weekends.

“We will be relaunching fully, an all fresh new look for next Thursday.”

She said: “I feel excited, it needs the transformation, this store has been in this location for eight years and this is how it opened so it is nice to give it a bit of a fresh look, a bit of a repaint and get in there with the rest of the centre.

“It will have a huge difference because it will give us an identity in the town, it will give us a fresh new look.

“The layout will be smoother and there will be a better customer journey.

“The store is really popular, there isn’t many fashion stores for women in the town centre, in terms of ladies clothing, but I think the transformation is only going to grow the customer footfall.

“We offer a really low price, high fashion product, we are really on trend, and we meet the market of what our customers want at affordable prices for the customer.”

The store will have a full relaunch on Thursday, May 2.
