Actress Michelle Keegan has celebrated the success of hit Netflix show Fool Me Once - which includes scenes filmed in Bolton - with a cake.

Harlan Coben's mystery thriller was put on the streaming platform at the start of the year and immediately grabbed the attention of viewers.

It starred Michelle as ex-soldier Maya Stern, who, after the death of her husband played by Richard Armitage, sees him in the nanny cam hugging their daughter.

Various twists and shocking drama follows as Maya navigates life without her husband.

The show is Harlan's third Netflix adaptation is now the sixth most watched show on Netflix, based on the first 91 days.

Although this does not cement the show as a singular fan favourite, as the show has often received bad reviews from the likes of The Independent.

But Michelle posted to her Instagram: "Celebratory cake is in order.
