Police have recovered a motorbike which was stolen around five months ago.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officers from the Bolton North Neighbourhood Team found the motorbike on Grove Street in Halliwell last night, Tuesday.

The bike was said to be on false plates and was seized for forensic examination before being returned to its owner.

A police spokesperson said: “Officers from the Bolton North Neighbourhood Team have recovered this motorbike this evening (Tuesday) on Grove Street in Halliwell.

“The bike was found to be on false plates and its true identity showed it had been stolen in March.

“Bike seized for forensic examination and then to be returned to one very happy owner.”
