An eaterie based at a hospital has been handed a three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
Medirest Healthcare Compass Group which operates at The Beaumont Hospital on Chorley New Road in Lostock, was given the score after assessment on February 8, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
The inspection report states the hygienic food handling is generally satisfactory, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building is good, and the management of food safety is generally satisfactory.

It means that of Bolton's 430 restaurants, cafes, and canteens with ratings, 242 (56 per cent) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
