Bolton's motorists will have a road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a holdup of between 10 minutes and half-an-hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M61, from 9pm April 4 to 5am May 1, slight delays of under 10 minutes.
M61 southbound, J4 to J3 - lane closure for signs - erection.
And one more closure will begin over the next seven days:
• M61, from 10pm April 22 to 10am April 23, moderate delays of 10-30 minutes.
M61, junction 3 - A666 northbound and southbound, carriageway closure due to maintenance works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
