Emergency services were on the scene of a car fire last night in Tyldesley.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) crews from Atherton and Leigh were both dispatched to Ley Road at around 11.50pm to reports of a car fire.
The fire was deemed to be stable by the crew from Atherton who released their colleagues from Leigh and informed Greater Manchester Police (GMP).
Those remaining on the scene from Atherton used a hose reel and wore breathing apparatus while they brought the blaze under control.
They were on the scene for around half an hour.
