Police stepped up patrols on a notorious estate where a delivery driver was attacked and firefighters have previously been pelted with stones.
A team of officers made up of a sergeant, PCSOs and Special Police Officers were out on the Avenues' estate over the weekend Little Lever.
Some locals have branded the estate as a no go area because of the issues on the estate.
Last week three boys were arrested in connection with robbery and burglary during dawn raids on the Dove Bank Estate.
A spokesman for GMP Bolton North neighbourhood team said: "The North Neighbourhood team Sgt, PC's and PCSO's, assisted by the Special Constabulary spent the whole evening yesterday patrolling the Avenue's estate in Little Lever due to recent well publicised issues with youths.
"We'll be there again tonight, out on foot, patrolling in the carrier, conducting bail checks and checking in on vulnerable or concerned residents. There are no 'no go' areas, for anyone."
The dawn raid last week happened a day after residents packed a meeting about a spate of crime in the area.
