Bolton Mountain Rescue Team (BMRT) helped two casualties during the Festival of Lights at Rivington terraced gardens.
The team had been on standby at the event all weekend just in case their expertise was needed.
Two people needed their assistance on Friday night, one of which required further medical help from paramedics.
On Saturday, a spokesperson for BMRT said: "Last night, tonight and tomorrow, the team are supporting our friends at Rivington Heritage Trust by providing standby rescue cover for their Festival of Lights event.
"Yesterday evening saw the team called upon to treat two casualties - one required further treatment by North West Ambulance Service paramedics and we wish them a speedy recovery.
"If you are at the event over the weekend, pop over and say hello."
