Police are asking the public for information after a fatal crash in Hindley yesterday, Thursday.
The incident happened at around 4pm on Hall Lane.
A Honda CBR100 is reported to have collided with a Ford Focus, killing one of the drivers.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police Leigh, Atherton and Hindley said: "At around 4pm yesterday (Thursday), officers were called to reports that a Honda CBR100 was travelling along Hall Lane in Hindley when it collided with a Ford Focus.
"The collision left one of the drivers with fatal injuries.
"The other driver remained at the scene and is assisting with our enquiries. No arrests have been made.
"Our enquiries are ongoing, and we appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage from around the area at the time, to get in touch with us on 0161 856 4741 quoting incident number 2,082 of September 1.
"Details can be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
