The bus on fire.
A bus was seen engulfed in flames at the side of a road in Ramsbottom.
Cars were seen queuing up behind the blue bus as fire came out of the roof and right-hand side of the bus in Holcombe Brook at around 3pm.
An eyewitness saw the incident and described it as "shocking" as fire services and police were not at the scene at the time.
A video shows the bus going up in flames.
The bus looks empty in the video and cars behind it are slowing down.
It not yet clear what caused the fire but nobody is thought to be injured.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service has been approached for more details about the incident.
