FIRE crews were called to car fire in a residential area of Astley Bridge.
The incident happened in the early hours of Monday morning in Mackenzie Street on the Oldhams Estate.
Fire fighters from Bolton North fire station were on the scene for just over 35 minutes extinguishing the flames.
A Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “We were called at 12.54am on Monday, October 21 to Mackenzie Street in Bolton to reports of a car on fire.
"One fire engine from Bolton North attended and extinguished the fire using one breathing apparatus and one hose reel.
“Crews left the scene shortly after 1.30am.”
