FIREFIGHTERS responded to a rush hour car fire this morning in the town centre.
They were called to the scene at 9.27am this morning to put out a car which was on fire.
Firefighters parked up in Bold Street on the corner of Mawdsley Street where the car was alight and dealt with the fire quickly.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called at 9.27am to a vehicle fire in Bold Street, Bolton.
"Firefighters wore breathting apparatus and used hose reels to extinguish the fire."
It is not known if anyone was injured.
