FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a van fire in Farnworth this morning.
Crews attended the incident at the rear of Iceland, in Ellesmere Street, at about 2.26am.
The vehicle was fully engulfed by flames, and firefighters worked for about an hour to put out the fire.
The cause remains unknown.
Crew manager at Farnworth Fire Station, Martin Finch, said: "It was well alight upon arrival.
"There was no evidence of anyone in the area when we arrived."
