A CRASH involving two buses and a car brought traffic to a standstill in Bolton town centre.
The incident happened in Bridge Street, close to where the Ikon night club once stood, at just before noon.
According to witnesses, a silver Honda CRV had come to a stop at the traffic lights at the junction with St George's Road before a bus ploughed into the back.
It then knocked the car into the bus in front, causing damage to the rear of the vehicle.
The Honda was damaged to both the front and back and had to be left in the middle of the road before it was removed.
Officers were at the scene directing traffic while they waited for the removal truck.
Police confirmed that nobody had been injured as a result of the incident.
There were delays through the town centre for about an hour following the crash.
