A BOLTON MP is swapping laws for Lycra as he takes on the London Marathon for the second year in a row.
Bolton West MP Chris Green is running in aid of Fortalice, a Bolton-based domestic abuse refuge.
Last year Mr Green raised thousands of pounds for Bolton Hospice last year.
Before Christmas, Mr Green raised the important work of Fortalice during Prime Ministers’ Questions following a visit to the refuge.
Mr Green said: “Fortalice provide incredible support to vulnerable women, families and children and I have seen first-hand the important work that they do.
“Whilst running 26.2 miles isn’t normally my idea of fun, it’s all for a very good cause and I would be grateful if people could support Fortalice if they are able to.”
