A SCHOOL is expanding due to popular demand.
Bolton School boys’ division is making its Year Five three-form entry next September. The year currently has a two form intake.
The school says that demand for places at the school has “been buoyant” for seven years.
A spokesman said: “Year Five will enrol three classes of around 20 pupils.
“A special entrance examination will be held on Monday, November 20 for current Year Four boys looking to enter Year Five at Bolton School in September, 2018.
“Any parent wishing to register their child for this exam, should call 01204 434735.
“There will also be entrance examinations for boys wishing to enter Year Three in September of next year on Thursday, January 18.”
In its latest inspection report, the school was given the highest rating of excellent in all categories.
The Bolton School open morning will take place on Saturday from 9.30am to 1pm to which pupils and parents are invited.
