SIR Ian McKellen will be reprising some of his most memorable roles in a unique one-man show this summer.
From Gandalf to Macbeth, the Oscar-nominated actor will be taking audiences on a journey through the pages and stages of his 50 years of acting.
The intimate show at the Park Theatre in London will run for nine performances from July 3.
Revisiting the likes of his beloved characters, such as the Lord of the Rings wizard and Shakespeare’s tragic Scot, the former Bolton School boy will also engage with the audience, who will be able to ask questions and participate in the performance.
He said: “I’m performing at Park Theatre to help raise funds for the charity. In a short time, the theatre has established itself on both the theatrical and local maps.”
The show has already sold out and the theatre plans to release more tickets on May 15.
