A DRUG dealer who made thousands of pounds from his crimes has been forced to sell his car.
At a proceeds of crime hearing at Bolton Crown Court the Honorary Recorder of Bolton, Judge Timothy Clayson was told Paul Stuchbury had benefited by £12,034.06 from his crimes, but he only has £1,685 available to him, mainly from the sale of his car.
Stuchbury, aged 27, appeared in court via a video link from Forest Bank prison, having been jailed for 14 months for various drug trafficking offences in February.
On July 16 last year police raided Stuchbury’s home in Craven Court, Horwich and found a small bag of cocaine, £185 in cash and an envelope on which was written a “debtors list” detailing names and amounts, on top of a fish tank.
In a storage room in the Bolton at Home owned property they also found just over a kilo of cannabis bush in tubs and bags and scales and snap bags were recovered.
At the proceeds of crime hearing Judge Clayson agreed Stuchbury should hand over £1,685 within three months or face a further 28 days in jail.
