A NEW bar is opening its doors in Bolton town centre tonight.
The trendy Vogue bar, in Nelson Square, has had a £40,000 revamp.
Bosses have been working on the new 600-capacity bar since November and have installed new décor and facilities on the site, which used to house Square Lounge.
The guest star for opening night is MC DT, who performed on the DJ Pied Piper and the Masters of Ceremonies track Do You Really Like It?, which reached number one in the UK singles chart in 2001.
The bar promises to offer a selection of the best RNB, hip hop, grime and basement music.

The owners behind the new bar have been running the successful Sweet and Juicy Club nights in Kavos in Greece and across the UK.
A spokesman for the club said: “We used to do our club nights in Greece but since the economy crashed, we decided to bring our club nights to Bolton and decided to open a bar ourselves.
“When we took the place over it was like an old fashioned bar, so we have put a lot of money and hard work into the place to renovate it and bring it up to standard.
“Looking around at other places in Bolton, I don’t think anybody else will be able to compete with us.
“We have got some good contacts from our club nights and will have high profile DJs including from the Ministry of Sound in London.”
Admission costs £3 before 11pm or £5 after.
