BOTLON School senior Lacrosse and Netball teams travelled up to Edinburgh for their annual sporting trip over the weekend.
Over the three days, they played matches against St George’s School, Edinburgh Thistles Lacrosse Club and Fettes College and the matches were highly competitive for both sports, and provided a great challenge to all of the girls.
The Bolton School team picked up two impressive wins in their netball matches.
They beat St George's 19-10 on the Friday, and then defeated Fettes College 29-14 on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the lacrosse team had the opportunity to play a very exciting game against mixed side Edinburgh Thistles on Saturday.
The rival team included some extremely fast players and Old Girl Georgie Greenwood, who is currently a senior Scotland player!
They also played against Fettes College on Sunday. Despite losing both games by a narrow margin, the Bolton School team had a great time playing these challenging matches against impressive opponents.
As well as playing lots of sport, the girls had the opportunity to explore the University of Edinburgh buildings and the city.
On Saturday, the Under-13s, 14s and 15s Lacrosse teams were also in action as part of National Lacrosse Day.
The girls worked with coaches from Brooklands Club in Sale and they played a number of games.
