POLICE are appealing for help to trace a missing man who has links to Bolton.
Munir Alam, 43, was last seen at around 11am at his home address on Empress Street, Accrington, on Sunday, August 16.
He told family members he was going out for a walk but he failed to return home and has not made contact with them since.
He is described as Asian, around 5ft 10in, of a large build with brown eyes and short black hair.
He was last seen wearing traditional Asian dress, a black short length jacket and black shoes.
He also has a tattoo on his left arm of a love heart with the letter ‘M’ inside.
He is known to have links to Bolton and Rochdale.
PC Laura Kendall, of Blackburn Police, said: “It has been more than two weeks now since Munir went missing and his family and friends are becoming increasingly concerned about his whereabouts.”
Anyone who may have seen him or who has information about where he may be should contact us on 101 quoting log number 778 of August 31.
