YOUNGSTERS came face to face with creatures of the deep during the half-term break.

Children who visited Bolton Aquarium had a chance to see the fish being fed.

The activity was one of many taking place over the half term break.

Plans are now under way for a packed summer programme of events in the borough, organised by Bolton Council, which includes lots of free and family-friendly activities at Bolton's historic halls, libraries and Bolton Museum and Central Library in Le Mans Crescent.
