HUGE images of ancient Egypt were projected onto walls in Bolton town centre in a free light show.
The Re:light production took place in Cheapside Square, off Victoria Square, on Saturday night.
The show was the culmination of a three-month project by youth and community groups, who created the display based on artefacts from Bolton Museum.
The event was was funded through Greater Manchester Strategic Arts Fund’s cold spots programme, which aims to increase arts participation in areas of low involvement.
Re:light is Bolton’s follow up to last year’s production for the Big Digital Project, in which light show events were designed by people working with local artists in each of the 10 Greater Manchester authorities.
