Bloc Party: At the Empress Ballroom on April 18
WITH their second album, A Weekend in the City, currently sitting at number two in the charts, Bloc Party have announced three new live dates, including one at Blackpool's Empress Ballroom.
The London band were one of the most succesful f the new crop of indie bands in 2005, and their debut album Silent Alarm received great critical acclaim.
A Weekend in the City was released on February 5, following the succesful lead single The prayer. The band have announced that the second single from the album will be I Still Remember.
Bloc Party play the Blackpool Empress ballroom on April 18. Tickets are on sale 9am from February 16, priced £16.50, and are available from www.gigsandtours.com or by ringing 0871 2200 260.
