YOUNG people went back in time to enjoy a musical history tour.
Bolton School junior boys travelled to the 1950s with Pop Project and enjoyed a potted history of each decade onwards through pictures, video and through the music of the time.
Members of Pop Project played a selection of famous guitar riffs from each decade while news stories of the time wer shown on the big screen.
The boys, from years three to six, also found out how listening to music had changed, from vinyl records, cassettes to iPods and how music technology has evolved.
Youngsters enjoyed music from Michael Jackson to Queen to Oasis and Take That, and from many other artists.
The School invite Pop Project in thanks to funding from the Junior Boys’ School Parents’ Association.
