A YOUNG saxophonist showcased her skills at a music competition which attracted talent from across the north of England.
Bolton School pupil Zoe Stirzaker, aged 15, performed in the regional final of the Young Musician Competition, organised by Rotary International.
Competitors came from Wales, Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cumbria, Lancashire, Cheshire and the Isle of Man, to the contest, held at Bolton School.
Michael Cull, community service chairman at the Rotary Club of Bolton-le-Moors, said: “Zoe did not win on the day but gave a terrific performance and received congratulations from the judges.
“She was a credit to her school and to the Rotary Club of Bolton-le-Moors, which sponsored her.”
