Police have launched an investigation after a car was deliberately set on fire outside a house in Daubhill.
A crew from Bolton Central station attended a house in Park View Road to tackle the fire at around 4.50am.
No-one was hurt in the incident.
A police spokesman said: “We are appealing for information in relation to a car that had been deliberately set on fire.
“The car has been removed for forensic examination. We are appealing for witnesses and investigations are continuing. “ Anyone with information should call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
