A MAN is being hunted by police for allegedly following a woman and a teenager around a supermarket.
The alleged victims are believed to have been followed around Asda in Priestners Way, Leigh, and into McDonald’s nearby.
The incident happened just before 8pm on Friday, January 17, at about 8pm.
Police want to speak to the man on the CCTV image who is white, in his 50s with a white beard. He was walking with a stick.
Det Con Alison Wallwork said: “We have scrutinised CCTV from both Asda and McDonald’s and believe a woman and teenage girl were followed around both locations.
“They appear to be oblivious to this and as part of our subsequent investigation we are now trying to identify the man in the CCTV image.”
Anyone who recognises the man is asked to call police on 0161 856 7292/7964, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
