A FOOD and drink festival hosted by Bolton School proved to be a very tasty affair.
The event was organised by Junior Boys’ Parents Association and parents, pupils and visitors enjoyed tucking into the many delicacies on offer.
Highlight of the evening included pizzas from an outdoors wood-fire oven, with people sitting outside in the mild autumnal evening.
Other foods included curries, Spanish dips, jams, pickles, cheeses, chocolates, fudge, cakes and there was a gamekeeper selling wild boar, deer, game pie and pigeon.
Drinks included Mr Fitzpatrick’s cordials and different sweet flavours of vodka.
The event was organised as a social get-together and money raised from the raffle and hire of stalls will go towards buying playground equipment for the boys.
