CHILDREN at SS Osmund and Andrews Primary School in Breightmet celebrated winning a maths competition involving 20 Bolton schools last week.
The competition, run by Bolton School, involved a series of three mathematical challenges.
These included a team challenge, a pair challenge and an individual challenge.
And the pupils emerged triumphant to receive their rewards, and a £20 cash prize, last week.
Teachers were full of praise for the pupils and and Steven Kay, year 6 teacher at the school, said: “The maths was very tricky.
“Most adults would have struggled with it.
“The school is delighted for its pupils in their achievements.
“It was great to see the children competing and working hard.”
